Ronald Zack, RN, NP-C, JD

Ronald Zack’s legal focus is estate planning, probate litigation, and elder law. He is a Certified Specialist in Estate & Trust Law (State Bar of Arizona, 2017), and he has been practicing in this area for 13 years.  

In the past, Ron had served as a Deputy County Attorney, Assistant Attorney General, and he has been a shareholder and a partner in larger firms. Over the years, he has practiced in criminal law, juvenile law, medical malpractice, and has done criminal and civil appeals. He has been a Pro Tem Superior Court Judge, a Pro Tem Special Magistrate, and a Pro Tem Justice of the Peace.

Ron is a member of the State Bar of Arizona, the Central District of California Federal Court, and the Federal District Court of Arizona. 

Ron has a diverse background not only in law but also in radio broadcasting (Law Review Radio), publishing (Today’s Tucson Senior and A Legal Guide to Growing Older: Planning for Disability, Dementia, & Death), real estate, insurance, education, and nursing. Along with his Juris Doctorate, Ron earned a Master of Arts degree in Linguistics and a Master of Science degree in Nursing Education. He is also a certified and licensed Nurse Practitioner. He maintains his nursing license and, as an RN, is certified in addiction nursing. This unique background not only cultivated his passion for the law but also facilitated his holistic approach to his practice of law.

Ron has been active in many communities and nonprofit organizations, including Casa De La Luz Hospice and Valor Hospice Ethics Committees, Step Up To Justice, and the Volunteer Lawyers Program. He is a member of the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association and the American Association of Nurse Attorneys. He is a past president of the Pima County Bar Association and currently serves as president of the Hospice Education and Legal Partnership board.

Ron has recently moved his practice into a new entity, Ronald Zack Law PLC, with the intent to provide the highest quality legal services for the most reasonable cost. The business structure is simple, and his team is competent, efficient, and accessible. You will notice a somewhat less formal atmosphere, yet highly professional. Relationships are very important to Ron, and he strives to get to know his clients and be available to help with their needs. Ron and his staff pride themselves on a quick response time to telephone calls, emails, and text messages. Their goal is to make the legal process as easy and as painless as possible for

Veronica Stirnitzke, JD

Originally from Southern Arizona, Ms. Stirnitzke has baccalaureate degrees from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and from the University of Arizona. She attended Washburn University School of Law and graduated with Honors before returning to Oregon. Ms. Stirnitzke has been involved extensively in the labor movement, serving as a union delegate, a union national officer, and even interning with the National Labor Relations Board during law school. In her off hours, Ms. Stirnitzke enjoys traveling, piloting aircraft, learning new languages, and giving back to the community.

 

Bernadette Navarrete

Bernadette Navarrete is our Paralegal and Office Manager for our Tucson office. Ms. Navarrete received her Associate of Applied Science Degree (Paralegal Program) from Pima Community College in 2007.  She joined the firm in 2012, and concentrates her work in the area of probate estate administration, with an emphasis on guardianship and conservatorship matters.

Bernadette is a native Arizonian and a mother of three children.  She is proud to be a community supporter of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, a nonprofit helping to raise awareness and support research to transform lives of people with type 1 diabetes.
